Life Is Like Water

Life is not much different than water. Constant movement, always flowing. In nature, water always needs to be in motion. River and creeks flow constantly. Oceans are at permanent unrest.

Life is not much different than water. I believe that there is a paradox between life and water. Not just because we need water to survive; there is a greater connection. If you carefully observe a waterfall in all its power and might, you will also notice how water flow differently in different areas and how water level and currents alter the look and feel of the waterfall.

Life is not much different than water. We always need to push forward just like the currents. We cannot cease to push forward or our life will become stagnant. Worse yet, it could simply dry out. The flow of our emotions can alter the way we live just like a waterfall. Our life can be transparent like a spring or murky and contaminated like a toxic waste dump. Our life can be as deep and rich as the ocean or as shallow and unimportant as a tiny rain puddle.

Unlike water, we have a greater advantage over the flow of our life. There are many things that we are able to control. Bad things and problems will arise in our lives, but we can control how to deal with them.

It is our choice. We can be like the mighty oceans and rivers or we can let our existence dry out.

So keep pushing forward. Keep the flow gates open and enjoy your life.
