Blossom Right Here, Right Now

There is a tremendous amount of people who are unhappy with their lives. They are always looking for the next ride, waiting for the next time around so things can get better. They move to a different city, apply for a new job or look for a new relationship.

There is nothing wrong with change. There is nothing wrong with re-inventing yourself. But, if you are always trying to change or “looking” to be happier, then you need to take a closer look at your thought process.

Is it necessary to live in a new city to be happy? Is it crucial to your family or career to get a new but similar job? Are the benefits upsetting the headache you will go through while tackling these new opportunities, or are these opportunities just a scapegoat of your imagination?

Don’t get me wrong. Change can be good. A new enjoyable job with better pay is great.
Before you go ahead ask yourself this question: “Can I blossom right here, right now or do I need to make this radical change?”

My point is that many people think that a new city or new job will make them happy. The fact is that you will carry your problems or disappointments anywhere you go, no matter what, unless you deal with them. Take a closer look at what makes you tick. Is your new “opportunity” justified or are you trying to get away from something?

Dig a little bit deeper before going for it.

Maybe you can blossom right here, right now.
